Title: Non Battle Group Shipping targets

I'd like to see tankers and freighters along with coastal barge traffic.
Whether or not it could be used to some purpose or just
decorative, it could add alot of immersion.  I don't know how hard it is
to add new shapes to the current shipset, but this seems an easy sort
of addition.

Another possibility would be to code something like a German F-Lighter
armed barge to give the PT guys something to do besides provide
balloon type targets to aircraft ;)

Adding anti-shipping targets would be good.  More ground targets too: ammo dumps, communication centers, rail yards, marshalling yards.   Destructable bridges and rivers and roads and more convoys would be nice as well.

Plus side: additional targets for attack planes, whether or not it contributes to strat numbers or not.  Give the B-25's with 75mm a target for that spun gun.

Minus side: would add additional means to milkrun in EW and MW arenas.

Id like to see more shipping too, but they have to have alot of ack to prevent too easy milkrunning from the EW/MW crowd. Its hard enought to get them to fight other players as it is :lol

yes Yes YES!!! I love this idea, and the ships should be somewhat mission specific, since we allready have the do everything river barges, we should differentiate, like a tanker to bring up the fuel if it had been hit, an ords/ammo ship to resupply that, an acky ship(stupid name i know) that would bring supplies specific to causing ack to be repaired faster, and a general buildings repair string of barges(the ones we are allready using as the jack of all trades tug and barge trains would be perfect, also # of barges from that string that are destroyed will have a direct correlation with the # of town buildings/hangars/other buildings that are repaired/come back). It will also add a little more immersion and some strategy to the whole base capturing process, also I'd love to be the designated ship scouter/hunter during base capturing operations (better than those freeking indestructa-trucks that move wayyyyy too fast, are sneaky, and are just little friggin h*ll spawns in general).

Just my 2 cents and my venting about my hatred of those d*mn trucks,
