And exactly HOW is the 'immigration reform' bill gonna make this better? I used to think our elected officials were just naive , now I've come to the conclusion they don't care about the negative aspects as long as there is a cheap supply of labor

"Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas is a fairly famous institution and for a variety of reasons:
1. John F. Kennedy died there in 1963
2. Lee Harvey Oswald died there shortly after.
3. Jack Ruby-who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, died there a few years later, by coincidence.
On the flip side, Parkland is also home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year. (That’s almost 44 per day---every day)
A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants. That’s 11,200 anchor babies born every year just in Dallas.
According to the article, the hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million dollars in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.
The average patient in Parkland’s maternity wards is 25 years old, married and giving birth to her second child. She is also an illegal immigrant. By law, pregnant women cannot be denied medical care based on their immigration status or ability to pay.
The Dallas Morning News article followed a Hispanic woman who was a patient at one of the clinics and pregnant with her third child---her previous two were also born at Parkland. Her first two deliveries were free and the Mexican native was grateful because it would have cost $200 to have them in Mexico. This time, the hospital wants her to pay $10 per visit and $100 for the delivery but she was unsure if she could come up with the money. Not that it matters, the
Parkland Hospital offers indigent care to Dallas County residents who earn less than $40,000 per year. (They also have to prove that they did not refuse health coverage at their current job. Yeah, the ‘free’ care is not so easy for Americans.)
There are about 140 patients who received roughly $4 million dollars for un-reimbursed medical care. As it turns out, they did not qualify for free treatment because they resided outside of Dallas County. So the hospital is going to sue them! Illegals get it all free! But U.S. citizens who live outside of Dallas County get sued! How stupid is this?

My father was in the Child Support offices in West Chester Pennsylvania paying off the extortion while his due process rights were being violated, he saw the office workers handing Hispanics free Blue Cross HMO cards. All they had to do was fill out a single piece of paper.

How do you know they were illegal immigrants? Or you're ASSuming so because they were Hispanic and according to Fox News, all Hispanics are illegal, right?

You are gong to take this in the hemmeroids just like I am and nothing substantial will be done about it. Research history for the last 5000 years. The only way human migration was ever stopped was by a strong army or a united homogenius population united to do whatever was neccessary including stringing up every member of the migrating alien population.
Our congressional body of professional liars and criminals will never turn away a new source of voters or tax base. So if you cannot organise 80 million Americans to show up with guns and rope to start a national necktie party of ALL ilegal aliens, take more drugs and say good bye to the U.S. as we complain that we want it to go back to.
And yes the necktie party will have to take place on profiling alone. But hey, I bet it wouldn't take too many swingers before the tide would drop off. But then Rome lost the will after 1000 years, and China just opted for a long wall and death on the spot for noncompliance. Oh how Orrable, the inhumanity of not letting your country be swept down the sewer pipes by the alien hoards.....

I've met few Mexicans I didn't like and growing up in Texas I've known more than a few. However, I don't like the idea of intruders pushing me from my home and I think this is what makes most of us angry at the influx of illegal immigrants who refuse to assimilate and adopt our culture. I seriously think we, the United States, should move to annex Mexico. It would at least be interesting to see the reaction of both Americans and Mexicans to a serious annexation movement.

Call me stupid, but here is my four-step plan:
1. Make employment of, or contracting services from, illegals a felony with a mandatory prison sentence and $100,000 fine per person per day of employment.
2. Change US citizenship from jus soli to jus sanguinis.
3. Create a path for the limited and screened legal immigration of unskilled and skilled labor. There is no legal path now and Americans are too fat and lazy to perform all the cheap labor the economy has come to require.
4. You can't deport over 10 million people, it's impossible. So, you have to find a way to grandfather in and keep the contributors to the economy without any criminal record. But, the flow has to stop. Homeland Security should transfer half the people from airports to patrolling the border. It's an army without the posse comitas problem.
It all starts with No 1, though. Without that, there is no way to get control of it.
