Agree here totally - the P39 will see a lot more action than the brewster ever will.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the Buffalo be obsolete in AH where it would most likely be flown against other American planes or late model 190s?

P-39Q ... in Russian plane set.... (cause we need to add a fighter to add game content to fitr jocks after the EW/MW medium bomber) and since it came in second. Nice add to Russian front SEA events.

then the A-26B and A-26C Invader..... since buff drivers could use another perk ride to spend points on

then the German 88mm FlaK36.... to bring arty and manned puffy ack to the game.

then the G.55 to bring the best the Italians had to the game to add to their meager plane set and give luffenwobble pilots a new treat to fly.

after that a toss up: He-177, Pe-2, Ki-44, Yak-3.

Brewster should come as part of an Early War Pack to include planes like the Gee Bee R-1, Fiat G.50, Macchi MC.200, Nakajima Ki-27, I-16, and the like.

Gee Bee R-1???

This was a Thompson Trophy racer dating to 1932, not a fighter..... The Granville Brothers built racers and sport planes, not fighters.

LOL no...I want something WORSE than the P40?

The Buffalo was completely outclassed before it made it off the drawing board into production.

No, but that is where most of the players spend most of their time. To keep them interested and paying to play, you need to add content to your primary income player group. You lose them over time, you lose everything eventually.

Especially with a game that has been around as long as this one. All computer games have a shelf life limitation of some sort. Plane additions and any addition to content has to be as much about player demographics in relation to the business model at HTC and some hard numbers as to profit, growth, players by country, and so forth.

to Widewing for finally catching that one! I've used that line a few times for the past month where ever I see a "we need a 1930's fitr plane" posting. Besides... we have the RV8 don't we?

I think the thing about the He-111 has something to do with a vague resemblance to the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. I'll admit it is a good looking plane, and was a great ride in the Spanish Civil War, but it was getting obsolete by 1940.
