Title: Skuzzy: Official Support of AH by Cedega 6.0?
Post by: artik on June 27, 2007, 03:11:48 AM
Hello Skuzzy,

Today you support lots of platforms XP, Vista. I can see the problems you try to solve under Vista
http://forums.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=200949

If I compare it to running AH under Cedega on Debian Etch 64bit Linux box it seems to be really easier. And the default performance I get without tweaking anything seems to be better (AMD64 3000, 1G, nVidia 6600 128MB) then the default performance you get with Vista Utimate.

I'm not a heavy gamer but I do fly time-to-time and I think going back after a long brake to AH2 - under Linux - because I do not see any reason for Dual Booting or wasting 5G of HD for an copy of XP that I do not use at all.

However can I be sure that next release of AH will not brake the functionality?

Skuzzy,

Can you add Cedega 6.0 (linux) as an official supported platform?
This is very important for lots of users that has to dual boot just in order to run a game.

Thanks

As Aces High II cannot run natively under Cedega, I really cannot see including the operating system as "supported".
