I'm flying rather often these past few months, usually every evening and although this game has some flaws - I still love it just as much as when I signed up!
However, in the past month or so, I calibrated my joystick in game to ensure 100% quality.
Then everything went downhill from there. Every once in a while, sometimes lasting longer than others - I can't seem to pull the G's that I could before. Almost like my plane is heavy with bombs or something if you know what I mean?
IE: Flying a ki84 and riding the tunnel with decent speeds is not an issue as you don't really see the tunnel nor the ability to blackout.
So I calibrate and nothing works, or sometimes it does..
Is there anything I can do short of reinstalling the game to verify that I am getting the full range of motion on my joystick for the plane type that I'm flying?
Thanks gents

Go to options then flight from the clip board. Make sure you do not have stall limiter enabled.. IE if there is an X in the stall limiter box, get rid of it.
hope this helps.
cheers,

Also, if it was only happening in the Ki84, turn OFF combat trim. You cannot pull enough Gs to black out with it enabled, most times.
After calibrating, go to the stick mapping setup page, choose each axis, and click the "advanced" tab. Make sure that axis gets full deflection.
You can calibrate in AH and still not get it right. If that happens, you have to exit AH, calibrate in windows (and test in windows) then go in and recalibrate in AH.
Every time I lose power, don't shut down properly, whatever, I have to recalibrate in windows. I use gameport controls. USB might not have the same problem.
