Title: Lost most sounds, where to find them back??

Hi,

since some day´s most of my sounds are gone and i dont know why.

Only the additional installed sounds still work(i use the EAW stall sound).

The "sounds" folder is empty, only the additional sounds are there.

How can this be?

Default sounds are no longer individual wave files in the "sounds" folder.  They are all stored in the "sounds.res" file in the root installation folder for the game.

If you copied a config file from another installation and the sounds are configured to point at individual files in the sounds folder but those sounds are not there, then you would lose the sounds.

looks like my sounds.res file got lost somehow.

What size do it have and is there a place to D/L it as single file??

Hi again,

"sounds.res" was a good search therm, i found a D/L link and all is fine again. :)
