Title: Very nice tribute vid
Post by: USRanger on July 01, 2007, 09:50:07 PM
With my unit about to return to Iraq (this time without me due to getting my arse blown up) I'm determined to keep my brothers in everyone's hearts & minds as best I can.  Here's a nice vid I found paying tribute to the troops.  I hope you'll take a couple minutes, watch it, and think about my boys.  This is the 3rd or 4th vid I've posted here on the subject.  I apologize to anyone who feels I'm wearing the subject out.  It's one of the few ways I have left to directly support my brothers directly, if only to put them in peoples minds for a few minutes.  Thanks.

Ranger:

It's not possible to wear this subject out, as far as I'm concerned.  Keep 'em coming.

For anyone who hasn't checked it out, I've posted a new original song I wrote to http://www.myspace.com/richowen61.  It's a tribute to our troops, God bless 'em:aok !

Up & down days.  Was told I'd need a cane to walk the rest of my life.  Not acceptable at 27 yrs. old.  3 yrs later, I run 5-8 miles 3 times a week, cane has been in storage 2 1/2 yrs.  Mind over matter.  If you don't mind, it don't matter.:aok

Congrats man.. I've always thought it's more about self determination in that kind of stuff.

When the doctors and physical therapist folks tell you you can't do something it provides you with 2 choices. Take their word for it and live with the results or try to prove them wrong and do everything that you decide you can do.

Amen to that.  I'm definitely no Superman.  Guess I was just too stubborn to listen to the experts.
