Main Arena Tour 88 Completed
Kudos to the top pilots of Tour 88. Tour 89 has now begun.
Top Overall Ranking – Shawk runner-up Lusche
Top Fighter Ranking – Dolfo, runner-up Zazen
Top Bomber Ranking – Eaglehrt, runner-up VIX
Top Attack Ranking – il2pilot, runner-up MotorOil
Top Vehicle Ranking – Bearkats, runner-up AXER
No one really cares and it just causes "mines bigger than yours" issues.

you think that is a waste. look at the ranks for AvsA
AXER had a whopping 27 minutes in gv's in 5 sorties and ranked #2
had 54 minutes in bombers in 3 sorties and ranked #1
overall ranked #3 with 3 hrs and 50 minutes of AvsA playtime
LTARkilz had 10 minutes in 2 bomber sorties to rank #2, had 5 gv sorties in 33 minutes to rank #10. had 2 hrs 25 minutes in 14 sorties for #1 fighter
overall ranked #1 with 4 hrs and 16 minutes of AvsA playtime
valdals had a whopping 18 minutes in gv's in 2 sorties and ranked #1
the scores & stats are a big joke
all statistics should be removed from public view, make them where only you can see them if you click on roster. Only show the Rank and nothing more to the public eye. This will encourage better game play I think. make it where the only time you can see someones stats for the tour is on the 1st day of beginning the new tour.

I think if aces high makers was to take away the benefit of everyone being able to view others stats for the tour in session. but still show everyone being RANKED. I think it might improve gameplay for everyone. at the end of each tour either the last day or the day beginning the new tour, allow others to see their competitor's stats.
you yourself can view your stats through out the tour, but only you and noone else.
I think it would make people play more to keep their rank where they want it. I think it would also make it more challenging. If you can not see what you got to beat to get above the next guy/gal. Then you will work harder and longer to maintain and to advance.
maybe someone has already proposed this, or posted the idea before. I have not seen it though.

yup...i have caught alot of players doing this..i wont name anyone..but it does happen alot.
i popped up at a gv base. and 2 tanks were killing a tiger that kept popping up and not shooting. i went to shoot at it and some player said..dont shoot..he is on are side!! i was like hell if he is..lol..i shot again and got a kill..and sure anuff the tiger came to life next time it popped up and it shot and killed me.lol they were porking there own second account or some freinds account..either way it was cheap.<~~not saying all the top ranked does this number. im sure alot of them are just good at scoring...but when i see some stats people have i tend to remmeber that day at the gv base..lol

why do you care if its up there? All you have to do is scroll down a few inches and you see all the updates/announcements, also if you use the "search" button you can get a lot of info on these announcements.

Taking off the board won't change anything anyway. The people who care about it will look it up, those who don't care about score don't look at it anyway.
Let each play the way he likes -- and that includes the score chasers.
Better advice: don't make your enjoyment depend so much on the behavior of others.

If you dont like it ignore it. You dont have to read it. Just like whinners to whine about something that all can see or hear. What you going to do now sue HTC because someone came in first and then second. Why dont we give awards to 5th thru 300th place so we can make the bleeding hearts in the world happy. Lets make everyone feel good about themselves. No one wants a system built on achievement and goal setting.

If "No one really cares," then why do I see basically the same names up there every month? They must care at least a teensy little bit, don't you think?

This is all very true from a human psychology stand-point...The irony is I never see the people who always rank well, especially in fighter rank, talking about rank. The ones I see droning on and on about rank are the representatives of the unwashed masses that do not rank well, proclaiming to everyone ad naseum that they do not care about rank and it should be done away with entirely... :huh
Kinda makes ya wonder who is really more focussed on rank, those who just naturally rank well by virtue of their playstyle/playtime or those who do not rank well for whatever reason... ;)

I would like to see all ranks removed. Rank never has much sense, but with new milker's paradises (aka EW/MW arenas) it have zero sense. Keep all statistics like KD, KS, hits % and so but no ranks.
Or make all arenas scores separate, at least.
