Title: Forming a Squad ?
Post by: Daubie on July 02, 2007, 03:02:13 PM
Dumb question I suppose:

I want to create a squad just for myself so I can post nose art on my plane.  I tried to form one but it looks like I need at least one other member to join up with me.  Is that the case?  Cannot do it numero uno?

Thanks in advance.

If you  need 2 or more then someone joined my exclusive squad without my knowledge.

I just typed in my squad logo & all was good.  Haven't tried the nose art though, so maybe I'm only a psuedo squad.

Yes, I can join solo.

Wonder if that qualifies me to do FSO and Scenarios on my own?  I will try and see what happens.

Good stuff out of here:

Daubie that won't work for FSO.

To get into Fri Night Squad ops you need to be part of an established squadron.
The main reason is that FSO is setup to let as many people as possible enjoy the event with as little impact as possible on the CM crew. So its designed to almost run itself with a just a design CM and a setup CM that actually sets up and runs the event.

To do this orders, command structure, etc all have to come from the squadron level. If you really want to fly in FSO email me or daddog and we'll see about getting you in for a frame or 2.

For everything else, yes, just invite yourself, relog, then come back in & set stuff.
