if i play the game with normal levels of antialiasing, can i still jack it up to max when using the film viewer to get screenshots at best resolution or does it stay the same no matter what?

Whatever anti-aliasing levels are currently set will effect the film viewer output, no matter what they were set when the film was being recorded.

But you can always tell what's from the film viewer: no text buffer, no name from vox in the corner :D

You can play in 128 textures, detail sliders down, record film, end film, then set all details to max. Exit safely, then start up film viewer.

Now the film viewer has all the details (it seems to just read the settings stored from AH), for a nice-looking screenshot!
