I just inherited a couple hundred rounds of winchester and remington .243. Normally I would use this as an excuse to aquire a new gun, but I'm just not a big .243 fan. Also have a box of .38 and 1/2 box of .30 ammo. Also have 9mmx21, .30, .357 and .243 reloading dies, and a .38/.357 speedloader. Email or PM me if interested.

When you say .30 cal, which flavor of .30 cal are you talking about? Just curious.

How could you not be a fan of .243? i have a ruger M77 chambered in that and it's a blast to shoot.

My 9 year old daughter dropped a big hawg this year with her 243 HandiRifle.
243s are generally tack drivers as well.

I use a .243 all the time to kill coyotes on my uncles farm and hunting preserve

g00b, I would be all over that but I just purchased 200 rounds of .243 last week.
Even if you're not a fan of .243, you can never have too many guns... right?
-
you got that right... or ammo for that matter.

I was looking at getting a Winchester model 7600 for the Mrs. chambered for .243.......till they told me they wanted $600 for it:O Not sure what I wanna get her now :( How much does a box of ammo for it cost?

on the web site Cheaper than dirt (can't remember what it's actual .com name is) it rounds out to about 60 cents a round.
