Title: Giant Pizzas, Beer & Sea Monsters

What ever happened to the fun spirit at AH where we could fly over a mountain and look down at a giant pizza and a giant bottle of beer? Or have half the guys attacking a base diverted to the lake so they could kill the giant squid? And the adorable flying sheep armed with 50 cals, where'd they go? Does Hitech still put hidden surprises like that on any of the maps and we're just missing it?

Here's another factoid for the noobs, AH started out as a free beta but then when it went commercial in 2000,  it cost $29.95 a month. I thought it was worth it at the time and still do today, but I'd rather pay $15 a month so forget I said anything.

Impossible to raise the age but I think the cost increase will SOLVE many of the same associated (SP?) problems

Raise the price? Nah, you'd lose more customer $ than you'd gain....which means HTC would have less $....which means new stuff like planes, processing skins, new features, and (cough) CT would be far slower to emerge from the shop.


And do you really think that people with the additional $15 per month are any classier than those without? We're not talking about country club entry fees here....

It was only 5 years ago I said this, I gave up on it about 4 years & 10 months ago.

But you should have heard all the names I was called:rofl  Funny to me how NOW so many people agree. Had we done it back then, or NEVER lowered it, you might be able to take a sortie today w/o dodgin 3-10 HO la7s.:(
