Look what followed me home tonight...

Got the Off Road version in yellow.

Nice!
-
Hmmm what year did you get?
That one in the picture is a 1st Gen, but the "Offroad" versions came out with the 2nd Gen.
-
It's a 2007.
Very clean looking right now, I'm hesitant to put the first off-road blemish on the thing.
-
Congrats! Bring it up here and we'll give you some Northwest Pinstripping (Compliments of our branches off the trees) ;)
-
I'm driving it to the Yoo Pee of Michigan in a couple of weeks. My brother in law has a cabin in the woods only accessible by 4 wheel drive. It will be properly christened there. I may even bring the old rifle and go completely native.

Hey Target, when yer up there, if you find yourself near Munising. Visit the "Thunderbowl", it is an ORV only park that just opened, mostly sandy terrain, but not too rough. You might want to spend a few hours there. Have a safe trip! <>

So... where'd MT go? I hope he didn't roll this thing on his first outing.

This will be my next car purchase now I live out in the country (ish). Besides, it maximises my carbon footprint to clown shoe proportions!

Dowding, you gonna get the Defender 110, or 90? I wish they'd still make em here.
-
90 station wagon. Hopefully the XS spec - but that depends if I can persuade the wife-to-be it is worth the extra cash. ;) Always wanted one from being a lad.
I'm surprised they don't start making them in the US. Fit them with a big V8 again, I'm sure they'd sell. The new spec is much more driver friendly while still being utilitarian. Can't remember why the Defender was dropped from the US market - some legal/regulatory reasoning IIRC.

They were dropped in US because of the lack of Airbags.
Shoot some pics when you get one!
-
Nope, didn't roll it. It even got a little dirty.
Pic Hanger is down unfortunately.

Hey MT... XOC (http://www.xterraownersclub.com/) is probably the oldest of the Xterra sites.
Lots of info to be found here.

Take it to the pound and have it put down. The mutt that followed you home is ugly.

Thanks, I'm already looking to add some stuff. Love the engine in this thing. Surprisingly powerful for a 4.0l.
