Congratulations, you're the only man I know of who actually remembered the aniversary. Happy aniversary to you both. (By the way, how many times did she hit you with the frying pan till you remembered it?)
-
Hehe. I have a little built in reminder for the date. I always remember where I was on the 4th of that year. Saves on head bumps. :)
-
congratulations and all the best.

Thanks.

Advertisers would never let me forget it...or you, unless you live under a rock.

ahhh I see. I don't watch much TV and have satellite radio in all my vehicles so I don't do commercials. also I never get my wife anything on those "special days" if during the course of normal business I come across a good deal on stuff I buy it for her and she gets a gift because it's wednesday. it's not that I spend less than average I just don't have the pressure others seem to have with remembering dates. it's a formula that she has grown accustomed to and has saved me untold grief in the last thirty years of matrimony.

Congrats! How wonderful!:)

Thanks to all.
-
Congratulations and best wishes for many more!

TxDad & I operate the same. We don't really give one another gifts at the expected dates ~ but instead give them throughout the year. Always a surprise that way. Makes it verrry nice.

indeed. every now and again I come across some really special things. frau storch is a working class girl and doesn't really have much use for baubles and such but I was persuaded by a customer to trade a residential gate and access control system which cost me about $5000.00 to deliver for an 18 carat white gold tennis bracelet containing just under ten carats in diamonds. that present got me dragged to quiet places for a while. she is a pretty woman and it looks great on her wrist as she digs in her garden. :D

Not necessarily.
If those diamonds are all tiny but add up to 10 carats it may only be worth a couple of hundred.
Carats only mean anything if you are talking single stones...and you need to check clarity etc.
....but why am I telling you that...you already know.
;)

BG ~ I meant YOU were very nice... not the bracelet.
It's something pretty great to give up a fancy gadget for a wife's bracelet (regardless of how nice the bracelet is).
