Wouldnt it be cool to bo able to do MRSI? with the LVT's arty gun?
just punch a key and u got a target u just lower the barrel so the rounds hit the same spot every single time (Perfect for killing tanks =])

....yea so?

MRSI is not about hitting the same spot every time, but having all rounds fired in a salvo impact at the same time.  And it is not done on the move from the firing vehicle, but from a fixed position with computer support.

MRSI is a fairly new development (first fielded 1987 IIRC) in artillery such as the Denel G6-52 can do that with 6 rounds, and the German  Panzerhaubitze 2000.  Sweden and BAE both have projects for MRSI.  America's canceled Crusader would have been MRSI capable, and the U.S. Army’s Future Combat Systems still intends to develop one.

Since the game takes place between 1938 and 1945, where battle field "computers" were usually mechanical devices found in submarines and battleships, introducing such a late 1980's tech is "why not" to answer your "yea so?".

During WWII the concept was called Time On Target (TOT).  Basically, using math longhand with slide rule support and a ballistic chart, you would determine the firing time of several fixed artillery batteries located at different locations, and time their firing so that all rounds landed at nearly the same time on one area target (not a pinpoint target).  We don't have fixed artillery batteries in the game.

Ever think about playing BF2 instead?

And remember kids:  This guy thought THIS would be COOL too.....

Noobs, please know your history before making stupid statements.  You would have kept some credibility, but since you don't, we won't be asking for your ideas again.
