Title: gunning in bombers

I have a problem in that when I fire from a gun in a bomber and move the gun around, the bomber turns with the gun. Is there anyway I can stablize the plane and still fire/turn the guns without messying up the bombers' flight path.

Also if anyone can share helpful tips or lead me to a link for bombers gunnery, it would be appreciated.

Quick question: Do you use a twisty joystick?

Because if your plane starts to turn while in any gunner position, you are giving some unintentional  rudder input.

Yes, I do... If that's the reason, is there anyway I can freeze the rudder temporarily?

Seems your rudder is a bit too sensitive. That is not only aproblem while gunning in buffs. You will also use rudder uninationally while flying fighter, which is detrimental to performance

Go to Options-Controls-map controllers
Select your stick, and check the "Advanced" box.
Now select the Z axis. On the left you will see a slider called "Deadband". Increase it a bit. Basically you will want enough deadband that not every X and Y axis movement will move your rudder too. Tweak it a bit to find the smallest deadband value you are still comfortable with. And learn to move your stick without twisting ;)
