Title: The planes we need are here
Post by: Nimrod45 on July 11, 2007, 07:31:03 PM
I wish AH had the plane selection that Fighter ace has, they have just about everything that flew in WWII.  Has anyone played that game, does it compare to AH.

In the Bible and in legend, Nimrod (Standard Hebrew נִמְרוֹד Nimrod, Tiberian Hebrew נִמְרֹד Nimrōḏ), son of Cush, grandson of Ham, great-grandson of Noah, was a Mesopotamian monarch and "a mighty hunter before Yahweh". He is mentioned in the Table of Nations (Genesis 10), in the First Book of Chronicles, and in the Book of Micah. In the Bible he is an obscure figure; in later interpretations, as recorded by Josephus and the rabbis who compiled the midrash, he is the subject of innumerable legends. The most prominent of these was the story that he built the Tower of Babel.

just wonder if you know what nimrod really means?
basicly means a great hunter. bugs bunny was talking sarcasticly when he called elmer a nimrod.
ps. sticking up for nimrod though .

Seeing as how someone brought up my old pal Bugs.

Here's what I think old Bug's would have had to say on this subject.

"What a Maroon!"

I think that was ultra-maroon.
