you may have disabled something you were not supposed to. double check the processes list to find out what vital process you turned off.
NOT

Ok figured it out Ty

Which ones did you turn off that you weren't supposed to, and if you have time, can you list all of the ones that you left running, I'm in the same predicament as you.
Thanks

FSAuto start is very easy to work with. Each computer is different, so its hard to just "list" what to turn off. You may have Nortons on your computer (if I remember right, there is 4-6 things to kill to stop Nortons) , but I use AVG, so my list wouldn't have all those on it.
FSAutostart once loaded, has a feature where you can "mouse over" or "right click" on to get info an a suggestion as to whether or not you should turn it off. Thats looks like the way "oldtard" did it. He turned off one thing to many, and caused a problem, but it didn't hurt anything. A few mins of turning things back on and trying again found the right one and set him strait.

Ok, so if you mess up and it crashes you just restart the computer and everything is back to normal? And getting my processes down to 19-21 should help my variance get a lot better right? And one more lol, is Norton really that much of a resource hog that it could be a major player in why my variance is so high, and is there an all mighty disable button for all of Norton or do I have to just uninstall the whole thing?
Thanks

norton is a pig. it hogs so much of your system, and is very difficult to truly shutdown. it likes to restart its self. best bet is to uninstall norton completely and get something like AVG, or Avast, combine those with spybot, or adaware, and you will be just as, if not better, protected than with norton. IMO
and yes, with fsautostart, if you mess up and disable a process you shouldnt have, just restart your comp and all is well.

I'd only recommend Avast if you are cheap like me. It's not a big resource hog, but its shown to not be the best for picking up viruses.
