Title: Kamakize
Post by: DoLbY on July 13, 2007, 04:16:02 PM
Yeah, I can't spell too good lol

Anyway, I doubt HT would actually do this but if so, it would be pretty cool I would think. Requesting that planes (just enemy) can cause damage to ships if they decide to pull little ''divine wind tactic" against ships. At least mimium damage like taking out guns, radar, ect, ect.

besides, it'll give the Japanese plane fans something to do :D

I have to agree on the "No" sentiment --

-- unless any Kamikaze is subsequently booted for the remainder of the tour to represent the fact that Kamikaze pilots could NOT rinse and repeat.

There are enough already.  I'm not a fan of suicidal P38's diving the CV and augering on purpose.  Or dive bombing B24s. :noid

Yo.   Run around your living room dodging the furniture like they were the Allied interceptors and then suddenly just dash yourself into the fireplace.

Makes me happy and it'll make you happy as you'll be some kind of wicked cool divine wind kid.

A Win-Win

Only if your account is automatically terminated after kamikazing into an enemy CV and you are banned from game forever.

Actually I have found a way to be a Kamakazi. You grab a A6Mb-5 loaded up with bombs. Then you find the enemy CV, dive at it, drop your bombs when really close, then crash into the CV with your plane, while your bombs are armed and right behind you. BOOOM!

Here is the film of my Kamakazi attack. I kinda missed with my plane at the end, so really it wasn't a Kamakazi attack, but it leads you to the picture of what I'm talking about.

KAMAKAZI!!! (http://putstuff.putfile.com/94949/108261)

edit: Watch the attack from Superfly's P-51 and it looks like a Kamakazi attack.

Am I the only one who thinks that half the fun of playing this game is successfully landing (wheels down) after a good scrap, with or without kills?

:huh

You already can. Just load up some bombs in it and fly into it. But drop the bombs a second before you hit.

It's sad when dweebs use a P-38 for a suicide jabo plane.  If only they'd take the time to learn.

I know the P38 well. It makes a perfect suicide plane. 2 1000lbs bombs. It climbs well. Just climb up to alt then aim and drop bombs right before you die.

How about searching for "Kamikaze" here in the wishlisht, with the username as "Kweassa", you'd get a better insight to the incidents.

Actually, thats not exactly true........

I think they need to travel some minimum distance before the fuse arms.
Level 200ft above deck at 300mph and release. Watch yourself get killed by blast damage.

If I remember correctly, the bombs have to travel 800'. That's vertically, horizontally or a combination of both.
