Does having a "Newfie" for a Sister-In-Law count? Or dragging the folks to the northern coast of Newfoundland for the wedding? BTW Latrobe, former Pennsyltuckian here..... born, bred, and raised NE of your namesake, but I moved to a much better place now.

I grew up less than 100 miles S of the Canadian border in MN and spent much of my youth fishing the border lakes with my dad in what is now the Boundry Waters Canoe Area. Does that count?

Wow! actually I would be happy to join! That'd be awesome since some of my favourite pilots are also Canuck. Though, being an F4U pilot, I may have to spend some time on Spits if the sqn. needs it. I do like spits, but I've only been here for a month.
Unfortunately, money problems have restricted me to 8 player.
Thanks for the invite, Phil!

I'm Canadian. And Molson Canadian is garbage. If you're going to overpay for beer, go with Keiths Red. Otherwise, Lucky Lager or Lakeport Pilsner is the way to go :aok Or possibly the Blue 18 packs that are on sale for the summer. That usually covers an afternoon's drinking.

wetrat.... I think I love you.

Yup, Lakeport Pilsner is my reasonably priced brand of choice but I'll grab a dozen Rickards Red once and a while.
Have you tried Lakeport Red yet Wetrat? If so, what do you think of it, I haven't. The Beer Store here only sells 12s of it in cans (I'm not crazy about beer in cans ). Guess I'll have to bulk sample it

<< Fredericton New Brunswick. For my money, give me a Moosehead or a Keith's.
Failing that, Holy Grail Ale gets my vote. (That's why I drink scotch, which my wingman Kavik from Reddit Ontario uses to deworm his sled dogs. Bow wow?)
