Title: Logitech 3DX Pro
Post by: DoM3K on July 15, 2007, 09:16:25 PM
I'm having issues, of which have never happened before, with my Logitech 3DX Pro joystick.

This joystick of mine which worked perfect for all the games prior to this (at least to my likings :D ) isn't even being registered as a viable controller for Aces High, is this an On-Going problem or am I just stupid? If someone can tell me how I can fix this please tell me!

(Yes, I did used this controller with Aces HIgh2 about a year ago)

I have had two of those pc's of watermelon sticks.  Spend the extra change & get the Saitek brands.

One Logitech 3DX Pro lasted 7 months & the second one lasted 4 months.

With mine it was the internal mapping that got screwed up 2x.

Anyone will tell you that while Logitech makes great computer stuff like, Head sets, speakers, mice & the like... well it falls short when it comes to the joystick dept.  WAY short.

I would say go w/ the Saitek X52 or Saitek AV8R-01.  You can get those at any Best-Buy.

I've had my Saitek ST290 Pro for 5 years. It is just now starting to fade away...

ST290 Pro's go for about $25.

AH2 should recognize and fully support every option of your Logitech 3dx Pro joystick. I use those sticks a lot and have great success with them. Each lasts me from1 to 2 years before I toss it and buy another.
