Title: T-34 vs T-34

I'm usually pretty good in GV's but tonight I was in EW where the only heavy tank is the T-34.  I've used one a bit in LW against Panzers, Tigers and Shermans and done OK in it but tonight I couldn't kill a T-34 with a T-34 and instead got killed a lot.

Where do you have to hit these things to kill them?

I was mostly firing at, and hitting, the turret... repeatedly with no effect.

Help!

any where but the turret and front will usually work

That would seem difficult if facing one another.

I know I'm gonna regret telling this on the forum:

Hit lower glacis at drivers position when facing T34's front.

I was facing the same problem in the Axis v.  Allies Arena, you gotta shoot them (as someone said) in the lower glacis, one shot should be enough.


BTW, the T-34 is a medium tank

Concentrate your fire on one of the tracks.

 If the tracks go and the tank slumps over, quickly travel to the opposite side of the slump where he doesn't have a shot angle against you, and then blast away at the exposed underside of the T-34.

 It works.

I once put almost a 50 rounds into a t-34 with my own t-34 at less than 100 yards. The other guy was doing the same. We both just gave up.

i bet u guys were usin the HVAP shells. theyre useless against tanks lol
btw, what does HVAP stand for? High Velocity Armor Piercing? lol

And they are useless only for the clueless ;)
