Ahh yes, it automatically was the BoPs that did it. Your proof sir? Maybe if you'd shut the hell up once in a while, it wouldn't happen. Just a thought.

I have no proof ranger but I do have a hunch and it does seem that whenever there is even a difference of opinion with you guys this occurs. if it turns out that I'm wrong I will apologize.

If you can just .report someone and get there chat suspended without having to show proof of them using abusive language then they need to change the way that works. That's just not right that you can just get a few people to .report someone and get there chat suspended.

did you get a ss of what was being said as you got chat suspended? If so, and if you did nothing wrong, you send it to Skuzzy and it will get fixed!

I thought the feature worked as follows:
People report.
HTC reviews chat logs of what transpired.
If HTC deems it necessary, the person's chat privileges are taken away.
Oh, and Stench....it was you that was doing the running the other night.
And another thing...seagulls is ONE word, not two.

two obvious rules in this game.
1. no, the guy with rank52 and control of the CV is not going to stop hiding it, because if they do there will be a fight and if we lose that fight we lose the CV forever!
2. dont abuse a squad with enough members to .report you to death.

I give you an example of what happened to me. I was in tif with another player on another country and it went on for about 10 minutes. I had started getting into a battle and forgot all about ch 200. Another 10 minutes or so went by and I had already forgotten about it. Then suddenly I saw the chat suspension come up and I immediately raised the text and hit alt-s. I then noticed that this player had continued talking about me and went as far as to tell people on 200 what he was going to do. He typed on 200, "I will just .report him." Another player asked about it and then suddenly I got chat suspension message. This is an abuse of the system and was fixed by the fine folks at HT immediately.
You cannot ask other people to .report someone, it is an abuse and will be dealt with by the man!!!!

People, before you get ideas, please be aware, HTC FROWNS ON ABUSE OF THIS... Abusing this tool can and will result in their punishing abusers. Log in one day to find your banned? Maybe that's why.
Keep that in mind.
P.S. Don't go giving all the ignorant newbies ideas with threads like this! If you do, please point out the reason NOT to (i.e. HTC punishing you) so that they don't get any ideas.

Isn't there some way that HTC could just keep a log of all the channels so that when someone does report someone they can look up what was said to determine if a suspension is warranted?

I just received a PM from a member of the FoSGs claiming they were not responsible according to the members who were on during the fighting in question. I accept this player's word so I extend an apology to the FoSGs with regard to this matter. I don't who I may have pissed off as I haven't been on much and then unusually quiet for me.
I will in no way cease from taunting a jabbing you guys.

Hmm, and yer giving me advice in another thread. If you "have been wronged", why not Email them? You've been playing long enough to know that, why "accuse without proof"?
