Yes, that's right, I'm an 8 player arena noob. :D
Anywho, I was wondering how it would be possible to open a server while allowing other players in.
Everytime I attempt to open a server in the 8 player arena, no one is ever able to get in. I'm assuming this is a firewall problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

The game uses a random subset of ports between 2000 and 6000 for both UDP and TCP. You would need to allow conenctions on that port range through your firewall.
-
So in the firewall setup page on the CP, I go to 'add a port' and then what name should I type in for the port?
After that, do I put '2000 - 6000' in the port number box?
-
Okay, so I just shut off the firewall entirely and no one at all seems to be entering. I know that I may not be very well-known, but it's FFA with all these noob settings. You'd think some one would attempt to get in.
Are people still blocked off or is it just the fact that I'm not well-known enough?

thanks so much!
I'll be out soon so I'm going to leave the server on.

Nope, cant get through to your game, tho can see it on the 8 player list fella. Check out port forwarding on your firewall/router, there is a thread about it in the hardware and software forum.....

Alright, well thanks for the help!
Edit: Appears that the Belkin 54G router I have will not allow me to host servers according to a player's post I read. Sigh* well if anyone wants to help me setup an 8 player arena server so Widewing can come by, that'd be awesome!
