Title: My day at work.. Video
Post by: FX1 on July 20, 2007, 01:07:22 PM
I have been a Realtor in Austin for the last 9 years. I have been concentration on sales for over 5 years and have only done a couple leases for family and good clients of mine. Well i did a lease for one of the nicest ladies that purchases a condo in the Heart of Austin. She splits her time from Indonesia and Austin. She had asked me to collect rent and do all the back ground work on her new tenant. I did and everything was ok up to this weekend. Someone broke into her storage room and wrote them self a check a very large check. So i get a call from my client on Tuesday morning about what has happened. I was fishing with my brothers down at the coast. So i hopped in my car drove 4 hrs and pulled up to the condo.

WARNING bad content....

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-282591208320993421

I need some referral sales so i never need to do leases management in my life.

I didn't get the real good parts on tape because my camera was in the car and wasn't expecting this kind of greeting.

Back to work today but thank god i am showing some nice homes to nice people today..

I didn't get the good parts on video.

"You could get a black women if you tried"

"I should pop a cap in your skinny white ass"

"This is why N**** shoot white people"   thats classic

I informed her that i was a much better shot than her and i wouldn't start a gun fight with me. Then i called the cops.. My sti was in my bag (:

The Tenant is a nice guy and i dont see him as the problem. Its his family and the others that hang around his house and money. He has a very good job and i really think others take advantage of the situation.

The cops came and told me their is nothing they can really do. I had a talk with the tenant and told him what went down. The police have assigned the case and waiting on the checks. At this point he has been evicted and is moving out. I am paying for the cleaners to go over tonight at 7pm and have it ready so my client doesn't blow a valve when she arrives in town.

Its just one big pain in the ass.

I was holding back and really was speechless. My license and the thought of a law suite along with the way i was raised really helped me out this time.

Saturday is going to be fun when the owner and tenant have a meeting. I am acting as the intermediary.

At least Texas has comparatively landlord friendly eviction laws.

We do but if the tenant doesnt comply it becomes a long process. I told him that he needs to do everything the owner asks of him our he is going to be in a world of hurt. I also said i would camp out on his front porch and have a contractor jack hammer a new drive way starting a 6 am every morning.

He called me today and said that he knew the person name that was on the check and it was a family member.

Does the landlord have a complete inventory of what was in the storage area?

She took pictures and has a list of items. We will find out tonight if their is anything else missing.. I walked the house and it looked like 5 people were living their but everything looked like it was ok.

She forgot about a really old check book in a filling cabinet that had personal pictures and other items.

If you met my client she really is a very nice lady and doesn't desire the grief that she is experiencing.

Also I am working for free on this one.

FX, I'm sorry you had such a lousy day. I wish I could say I haven't had similar conversations, but I have. We get walk-ups and phone calls on a daily basis from people asking for money, and sometimes I'm amazed at how rude people can be when they are the ones who are asking you for a hand-out. I actually wrote down four of the conversations because in their own way they set a new standard in the world of the truly surreal. There are other things that crop up, for instance the sad experience of helping out an old lady whose drug addicted wastrel daughter had already defrauded her and was scheming with her boyfriend to kill her to get what little insurance she had - the only part of the plan she couldn't figure out was who was going to take care of her kids once grandma was dead (her solution was to try to set the row house on fire while grandma and the kids were both asleep - fortunately she and her boyfriend couldn't do anything right.)

Anyway, if I might make an unsolicited comment, please don't allow this and other encounters with the soon to be evicted to taint your view of an entire race. Sin is a condition that affects every race, tribe, and tongue, and it's been my experience that regardless of your race, if you are raised in a fatherless environment, where being jobless, promiscuous, and involved in petty crime and drug and alcohol abuse is the norm and receive no ethical instruction, chances are excellent that you will end up simply conforming to the hideous standard you see all around you, and here in Fayetteville and throughout the world I've seen members of every race do exactly that. On the positive side, I interact all the time with wonderful people from all the races whom I am honored to call my brothers and sisters in Christ and who are dedicated to selfless service and living as lights in the darkness. Many of them are also serving in the armed forces, and put their lives on the line daily for us.

Anyway, been flying for too long tonight. Must learn to go to bed before I get this exhausted...

I don't have any problems with any race. This was just my first experience with racism directed to me.

It always struck me that it is often those who are racists who are the ones accusing others of racism.  It never seems to dawn on them that the world is not conspiring against them.  Rather, its their own failings that end them up in the situations they find themselves in.

It's called Victim Mentality. It is what prevents a majority of minorities of actually making their American dream a reality.  At least Jesse is making his money! ;)

American blacks are easily the most racist people I have ever dealt with.  the way to deal with racism is to call people on it right on the spot but most people are too timid to do so.
Title: My day at work.. Video
Post by: lazs2 on July 21, 2007, 10:04:06 AM
I have no problem calling them on it..  the problem comes when you call them on it and some PC lilly white butthead liberal  like we have a few of on this board takes it as an opportunity to call you a racist.

I just a avoid being around either.

It is a shame but true that if you are around the good ones... eventualy you will have to be around the really feral and vile ones that hang out around em and.. the good one won't take your side.. he will side with the scum.. don't want to be called "not black enough" or "uncle".

My belief is that their is good people and bad people in the world. Doesn't matter the color of your skin..

I rather be around the good and have the law deal with the bad.

This encounter made me think about getting my CCP.

Update

The condo looks 90% better and the tenant is being very respectful and complying with the owners wishes. I did blow my top yesterday and had to stand back and walk away.

yes lazs it is.  lumping all folks that call home a trailer park as rednecks is racist.

being a redneck myself though I'm cuban I may be offended that you imply that I live in a trailer park.  furthermore I'm offended at the possibilty of being excluded from greater redneckdom by your implication that one must be white to be a redneck.

you sir, are a racist.

Its not bragging, I'm complaining about my burden.

Every time I go into a locker room I hear the jokes about horses or africans in my ancestry.

Small women often recoil in horror and don't believe they can handle it.

I have to wear larger pants sizes in order to have a roomy enough crotch.

I could go on, but I don't want to appear as stupid as the rest of the discussion here.

I would agree that at least 5% of all people can be scum...

It would be dishonest to tho to say that it pertained to races in the US.  It is true here, for whatever reason, that some races have a much higher percentage of scum than others.

I don't pretend to know why nor do I care.   In the US.. some races just go feral faster than others..

who saved reginald denny's life?

I'll save you the trouble.

reginald denny was the hippie trucker that was beaten within an inch of his life by black rioters during the rodney king riots in LA in 1992.

he was saved by bobby green, titus murphy, terri barnett and lei yuille all four are black.

the best and worst in humanity played out before the cameras.

we are all of us capable of great brutality or great empathy, no race holds the advantage over any other in any category.

humm FX1 maybe I'll talk to you later on.. I almost bought a condo in downtown Austin right across from Town Lake. Took a road trip out there last year to check out some properities.

Nice town Austin is, very clean for being a city as big as it is. I decided not to move there and am doing some other stuff instead, but at some point I think I might move there.

storch.. your example would prove that in some races in the US...  for whatever reason...  some races have about 1% who are capable of great courage and morality.

It does nothing to disprove that some races go feral much faster than others in the US.   You forget perhaps what was going on around denny.. who he was attacked by and why... what was happening in that neighborhood and who was doing it.

Other minorities were in that same neighborhood.. koreans...asians... mexicans and they did not go feral.. not in those kinds of numbers.

There is such a high percent of feral people and zombies in that area and ones like it that it is unwise to be there.  Denny found that out... you prove my point not yours.

Because ignorance is bliss.....

A town in Texas was going to outlaw the so-called N word.... and fine anyone $500 for saying it. But there was an outcry among blacks there because the word is used regularly by them, they claimed racism.

They even looked into not fining folks that used it as a friendly greeting.... so blacks would not be fined. Needless to say, the law failed to make it.

Lazs I work in those neighborhoods.  we have had those types of riots here.  back in 1980 the miami police killed a black man named Arthur McDuffy under somewhat shady circumstances.  after all of the officers were aquitted blacks burned their neighborhood to the ground.

in several instances similar to what occurred to reginald denny white people where pulled from their cars and murdered.  all of this occurred.  but that can be attributed to mob violence and once again no one race holds the cards.  inversely how many blacks have been lynched under very similar mob led madness.

I don't recall the name of a chicago 15 year old black boy who went to spend the summer at his grandfather's home in the mississippi delta.  he whistled or made a comment to a white woman and that act cost him his life.  that night the woman's husband and others came to the grandfather's house took the boy lynched him tied an old fan around his neck and dumped his body into a river.  the shocking photos of the boy's corpse which was recovered after several days were printed in life magazine and were the start of the modern civil rights movements.

when it comes to atrocities we all have dirty hands.

now if you were to say to me would I prefer to see a group of blacks or whites approaching me in a dark alley I would prefer whites but in either case there would be a steady hand on a .357 magnum as a precaution.
