I got a pack of Marlboro today and it had this paper in it, it said if you call you get a free gift, so I called and there were 6 things to choose from, the first was a Coleman wide flashlight, the second was a sleeping bag, the third was a branding iron(I don't know why anyonw would want that), the fourth was a Zipo lighter, the fifth was a Weber Grill seasoning kit, and the sixth was a butane Zipo lighter. So if any of you want one of these, and it is free, just call 1-800-MARLBORO promo# 3777.

Yeah exactly, everyone who smokes loves to get those coupons, my dad got one a few days ago for $5 off a carton beacuse it's his birthday. They also send you alot of cool stuff, like I got a set of dominos, a nice pool cue chalk holder, a nice ash tray, a bottle top opener, and so on, although I'd rather get more coupons then those gifts.

oh man you should see my collection of Marlboro stuff. I worked out of my house till the program shut down so I kept all of the promo stuff at home so I could ship it when it was needed. When the program I was on shut down I asked them what to do with all of the stuff and they said 'keep it'
I wound up with 3 cases of t shirts, ashtrays, table stands, etc...
Honestly working for them for the 2 years I did was the sweetest job EVER..

Funny thing is that "gift" means "poison" in Norwegian, so the title of this thread has a rather fitting double meaning to me.

I always thought that with the money they spend on those promo gifts would be appreciated more by the customers if they just used it sending people coupons, I know I'd rather have the coupons then the gifts.

Yeah, I ordered the Weber seasoning kit since I love to grill, only thing is it says it takes 10-12 weeks to arrive.
