Title: any GIMP users here?

ive been using the stable 2.2.17 version and i have to say that i like gimp alot.

unfortunately, it doesnt have a healing brush, but i hear tell that the latest builds have it...but they are only available as source code.

can anyone tell me how in the heck i go about turning that into a program and making it work?

is anyone else doing this?

got it btw.  (if anyone else wants it)

found a compiled unstable executable of 2.3.18 on the web.  only part that sucks is that my script-fus don't work at all.
