Ok so im trying to make a C-hawks video, and for some reason when i go to upload videos from the AH2 film viewer... problem is when i go to film while in windows movie maker it says the film file is empty? but when im not in the movie maker i can go to films and they are there, also i tried putting them in a diffrent file, and same thing, in movie maker it shows file empty but when i go to it with move maker closed its full? anyone know how i can get the video transferd? also i tried to get the vid over 1 time and it said file may be currupted?

First, there is a lot of good posts in the Films and Screenshots Forum to help you resolve your questions.
I have made films using the AH Film viewer and created avi's. That is chancy and can be a pain if the codecs you have do not match what others are using and/or the viewer uses and may not work at all. It's best to test using each "save as" selection and write them down!! That is the only way I could make it work. Once it worked, I made improvements is size and resolution. I also found that if I took the AH film and did the "Start Select" and "End Select" to record smaller segments and then saved them with the default name and then play them. It creates names like film12_10825.ahf and then play and save as an avi works better. A note: make sure you recored more time before and after to give the game time to load the graphics. You will need to try all the options to see what best works for you.
FRAPS is a cool little program for users to make movies with, it's a free download-but if you want to get a clean screen without the link showing, it costs about $35 for the program. It creates huge files but WMM really does a nice job of reducing them dramatically after you compile them and save them. The nice thing, you play the film or segment in full screen and use the Shortcuts in FRAPS to start and stop the recordings. It also captures gunner views and that is a plus!!
I have only 5 movies so far, and each one got better - at least in my opinion. :D Unfortunately, my talents are limited! .:cry :lol :lol

fraps looks really bad tho, i imported it and u cant even read the guages

when you import it into windows mocvie maker its going to look bad. When you look at the clips in there they are very poor quality especially if you have the screen larger that they play in. Save the video to your computer and watch the film out side of movie maker using the Media Player you will see a difference.
