Title: Superstitions

As an engineer and a man of science, I totally eschew any notion of superstitions....absolutely ridiculous.

Well.....except, I do have a bizarre relationship with 7's and 11's.  Seems when I see them, particularly together, I have great luck.  (Like 7:11 am).

I wish I could capture this magic.

You don't?  There's nothing better then a slurpee in the dead of winter and some weird, cheap convenience food with 350 calories per serving.  And then getting it all for only $3.:aok

And then reading a week later that your consumed food item was recalled from using anti-freeze in the wheat substitute.  :aok  Yay China!

I'm not very superstitious, except in a single hand of poker.  Anytime I get Jack 7 in Hold'em, I always win.  I can never ever remember losing a hand where I started off with Jack 7.


I think there's some sort of mystical connection, but I have yet to figure it out.

I knew of a guy who was playing 5 card draw in a Deadwood casino, and drew two pair, aces and eights... all black.

It was unlucky for him.
