Title: AH Dictionary
Post by: TwentyFo on July 23, 2007, 06:48:24 PM
I am starting to get lost in all of the AH lingo. There seems to be a new 'word' every week. This thread was created to give some of the newer players a dictionary for cruising the forums and playing AH. You vets please contribute as many as you can, as well as make up new ones that could be used in the game. Have fun

Pork dweeb - One who specializes in zipping through bases , generally in a Typhoon, Tempest or La-7 at mach speeds to take out troops or ordinance, somehow never taking a single hit from field ack, and then runs for home the minute they're about to be cornered into a 1vs1 after they blow their E on strafing runs

Run-Ninety - Fw-190D

Runstang - P-51 Mustang. See also: Cherry Picker

Spitdweeb - One who exclusively flies Spitfires, especially the Mk.XVI, due to their "easy mode" nature. See also: HOtard

From 'urbandictionary.com'

A word which gamers use to indicate that someone was brutally beaten in a video game, and thus humiliated.  A variation of the word "owned". The only reason that this word came about was because of a typo, and given that P and O are right next to each other. It has nothing to do with combining words or anything of the sort. It is rumored to have come about from an early Warcraft3 map, in which the creator meant to have a trigger say "Player X got ownd", trying to use the "1337speak" variation of "owned", but hit P instead of O, thus giving birth to "pwnd".
