Post by: rpm on July 23, 2007, 09:31:17 PM: Has anyone figured this show out yet? It's very intriguing, especially if your a Deadwood fan. (I can't wait for Swearengin to show up!) But I'll be damned if I can figure the show out. Is he an angel? Is he Jesus? Is he an alien? Just WTF is going on???

It reminds me of Twin Peaks. Very complicated surrealism. All I know for certain is it's well written, has a great cast and it makes me want to surf.

And his Uncle is Nathan Fletcher.

Christian and Nathan were in turn the sons of Herbie Fletcher (a surfing Legend).

Herbie Fletcher = Christian Fletcher/Nathan Fletcher = Greyson Fletcher

So yeah Greyson is the real Deal as far as Surfing goes.

I don't see how it can be sustained tho.. not like Deadwood...

None of the characters are anyone I would want to know. they are all total whiney wastes of space. Every one a "victim".

Not bad. If there is absolutely nothing else on I may rent the other 3 disks this weekend.
