Whenever I play AH... I end up getting this blue screen that just pops up out of nowhere...
It either comes or it doesn't, but i'm allways playing in fear because of this dreaded blue-screen.
When it shows up it sais it's dumping physical memory. This screen has only come up after my dad stopped some stuff from popping up during start-up. Then he uninstalled Norton Anti-Virus, we weren't paying for the subscription anymore and it kept downloading stuff that took up 99% computer usage.
After that my computer ran great, but whenever I play AH, I get the blue screen...
Not ALL the time, but some of the time.
-
Well, it might be that he removed something which caused the blue screens to start.
Just to be safe and cover all the bases, I think we'll need a DX Diag report. Post the first 1/3 or so of it (all the hardware details).
Do you know what he "stopped from popping up?" What he uninstalled?
-
If you have a x52. I had the same problem. Took me forever to figure it out. Try dl'ing the beta drivers for it. Fixed it for me
-
You're kidding!
The X52 can cause BSODs???

Never happened to me, I'm using stable release drivers.
-
Ya, I saw on the bsod the error with sai something and searched the internet. Found posts in forums of people showing their systems and they all had x52's. A little more work searching my computer and found it was the joystick driver. I went to the website and dl'd the beta drivers. No probs since. Haven't seen anyone else have this problem but it worked for me.

It happened again... Hurry... I need a solution before the race starts  :furious :furious :furious  :cry
-
It looks to me that you might be pushing the system to hard. Your very low on ram, and your most likely having to use your HD to swap files. Eventually it just can't keep up and crashes.
-
I posted a list of things you need to do and never heard back. Do you do what I suggested? What were the results?
-
Oh Sorry Skuzzy! It worked pretty well. It gets this big frame rate drop for about 5 seconds but after that I have very small lag issues whenever I use it. They're tollerable.
-
Whenever I play AH... I end up getting this blue screen that just pops up out of nowhere...
It either comes or it doesn't, but i'm allways playing in fear because of this dreaded blue-screen.

After that my computer ran great, but whenever I play AH, I get the blue screen...
Not ALL the time, but some of the time.
P.S. This is posted in Technical forums, system specs are in my post there. I only posted here because technical support forums wern't helping me... :cry
-
add memory
-
1: you should probobly post a picture of what it looks like
2: re-download the ani-virus, that might help3
3: re-download aces high
-
A blue screen is caused by bad data. It can be many things. Try removing the cache, squads, and skins folder in the Aces High II installation directory and then rename the 'settings' folder.
After that and assuming you made the changes I told you to make in the other thread, if it happens again, it is more than likely something corrupt on your computer.
By the way, this is very difficult to handle when you keep starting new threads. That is why you ar not getting responses. Going to other forums is not the way to deal with this.
Best send me the output of the DXDIAG and let me go through it. I cannot do that in the forums. I have tools to help me with reviewing the data.
This does not mean there is an answer. No one here knows enough about your computer to be able to cover all the bases. Problems like this can be related to interaction with other programs running on the computer.
-
256 in ram is defentally a huge bottle neck in your pc . thats what id change 1st
-
It happened again... This time on another game, so I don't think it entails bad data... It's happened on every game i've played now.
Could it be lack of RAM?
