Title: My attempt so far for MA map

Comments are welcome.  
 
I want the central island to be mostly for GVs to keep the majority of the air battle being CV or island based on the perimeter.  The volcano in the middle is 14K (IIRC) with a tank town in the cauldron.

I may have over or under counted, but 46 bases per side is really pushing the envelope for a small map.

And check the channels between islands. They look really small and unpassable by CVs.

I will make the channels wider.  Good point.

 I count 42 fields.

19 vbs
4 ports
19 abs

per side.


What would you recommend for a good number?

You forgot to count the CVs for the ports...46 :)

Low to mid 20's would probably be better.

FYI - I have a terrain submitted that has 33 fields per country. And I'm hoping that goes through since it also pushes the limit. If needed, I will trim down the field count.

Solar,

Nice but I would recommend speading the strats out a bit to basically put them in play for the buff drivers. Having them all around the HQ mean long range bombing missions (timely) to hit, plus they will know your coming and have 163's and 262's galore to kill the buffs.
