I am sick, it's 22:00 here and I am still sick. My cousin from Barnaul (Altai region, Ktulhu F'tagn!) came here, he works on his Doctor of science work in history, so he comes to Msk every summer to work in archives. Yesterday we came to visit my Father, the oldest of our family.
What we understood: I am a an old looser, Dima (cousin) can't speak Russian, we are both crooks and idiots.
On Thursday I had to receive a "package" from Lipetsk, from my girl's mother. She have sent two bags, about 60kg total. Including 20+kg of potatoes, tomatoes, butter and so on, as if we starve here in Msk. Like it's still a Civil War!
Potatoes my ass!...
The train was late, so I had to jump out onto the platform, landed 3m before the platform ended.... I am no Jackie Chan, but I landed only tearing my jeans and with my knees bleeding. It took me 30min to carry bloody bags to the subway station... I was thinking in obscene language for about an hour! And coming home - I had to call ambulance and bring a girl to the hospital!...
I am a happy man. I talk to my parents on ICQ, Father lives 2km from my work, Mother is in Australia, I love my parents. You can't believe how happy I am living alone. Now I have a girl living here and Cousin, it's too much for me, being a chief here in my small flat...
Life is crawling like a snake in the grass...
I am alone for a while now, pouring myself a glass of cedar-nut vodka, looking around if anyone sees me... It's annoying.

This is how great Russian writing careers get their start....and great Russian livers get their end.

Believe me or not - but I don't know where my liver is... It still doesn't bother me.
Writing career - well, I am too lazy to put all my experience on paper. I am still persuading Father to write a memoir, he went to the Navy in 1943, then served for 44 years, his last job was a Buran launch facility... He still teaches in a university, he's 80 and still doing well.

Have you had tests done on your liver?
I think that when you start to turn yellow it is a little to late.

If you drop the "writing career - well" part, it actually sounds like the beginning of a nice Fitzgeraldesque novel.
And I wouldn't worry about the liver. You should be good for at least another 2 decades before it turns to concrete.

Cirosis makes you yellow? I maybe drink too much but still have no signs from my liver. No toxic gepatitis (sp?) so far.
Neubob, don't know why but I want to show you this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hZe-zvPPng&NR=1 Didn't think this guys will make anything like that...

Nice, but I prefer Glukoza and Valeria.

LOL thank You for not saying it's another "War and the World". Great Gatsby or Tender is the Night my bellybutton :D I prefer Hamingway. I'll probably win the "Hamingway lifestyle" prize :) I still hope that my life is more like Hamingway then Fitzgerald...
I said I wanted to post some observations from my everyday life, looks i was right when i thought noone will understand what i mean.
Just in case you like BG, here are two latest albums by Aquarium:

Жизнь ползёт как змея в траве, пока мы водим хоровод у фонтана.... :)
How to say it in Eng: Мне не чуждо ничто человеческое :D ?

LOL in 1999 I worked in NDR (Chernomyrdin) election slapstick, travelled with Russian pop-stars, Valeria looks muuuch worse in real life :D
From female singers I prefer VIA-gra :) Ukrainian women are the best :)

LOL.
Going to Cuba to commit suicude is a little bit too much for me. BTW a vacation on Cuba is cheaper then going to Turkey now.
Looked into my city backpack, found a halflitre of cedar-nut vodka...It seems to me that i was too "creative" last night.
Damn. I am out of cigarettes, only got cousin's "Looch" from Barnaul, without filter, best thing to quit smoking....

I was really surprised at how this "stars" look, Apina was the best looking and the only sane person there.
Thanks for the video, but it's not my kind of music. I like VIA-gra for professional songwriting, and the girls are awesome ;) Georgian composer and Ukrainian girls ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcB1NrUEeV4

We form our lips like as if we drink bad Russian Vodka and about to kiss hairy back crosseyed Siberian woman on cold night with much shrinkage and let Мне не чуждо ничто человеческое roll from lips.

Boroda, move to Australia near your mother. You will be much happier in a warm climate with a Western Government.

Father went to the Naval Engineering College in 1943. He retired in 1987, served in the Armed Forces, Doctor of Science, professor, last position was a scientific director of a military research institute. Capital construction. Colonel.
I am the first male in the family who didn't serve in at least three generations. :(

I really like Australia. Great country, wonderful people. Sane. Taking life easy. But i belong here. My country, my home. I'll never think of leaving Russia until my Father is alive.

Not mine either. It brings me back a few years ago, when I used to hear it on the radio all the time.

Have you ever kissed hairy back crosseyed Siberian woman on cold night with much shrinkage?
I rather prefer French kissing a 8 day dead Yak near an open fire, nekid.
:O
Brings out the animal in me.
:D

Are you talking to me now?...

I don't think Mac really talks to anyone.
It's more of a Tourettes thing I think.
Kinda like shouting "QUACK!" every few seconds, but instead it just comes out through the keyboard.:D
cheers,

At least he's funny...
Listening to Alexander Bashlachev now. Kinda depressing. Russian rock-n-roll messiah. Jumped out of the window in 1988.

I found out that I listen to people who are all dead....
