Title: this seems weird to me...

everytime i am in a cv gun i get black screen and then it says " aceshigh.exe has encountered a problem ..blah blah blah..." it ONLY happens at this point though, any clue as to what is wrong and are there anyone else that is havin the same problems as me?

on board sound? any new soundpacks? any new hardware or software? any of these could be the culprit. you will be asked for your DXDIAG report as well.

no...nothing is new, same stuff i have had since the beginning. just only happens when i'm in a ship gun.

Betty, I had that once with some other thing can't remember what but it turned out something was corupted in my cache.  Try deleting your cache files and let AH build a new cache.

Betty, I had a similar problem in some of the planes a while back, it would CTD when I chose a plane and tried to take off. Turns out it was a prob with the gunsight I had selected for each plane.
Now, I'm not even sure if you can change the sight for the ship guns but you may want see what you have selected and see if that helps.
