Title: HOing Dweebs you are all noobs
Post by: crockett on July 29, 2007, 12:39:35 PM: I made this film to out all the useless HO dweebs. You would be surprised how many of the "top" players HO consistantly. I won't spoil any surprises but lets just say I think some of those self proclaimed "AW" day guys will feel a little ashamed of themselves.

I'm new here, and probably old enough to be your father, so were probably not on the same langauge wavelength anyway.

What is an HO Dweeb? I know Dweeb is a newbie but what is HO?

Ok for the people that don't understand "satire" I'll explain..

People whine and complain all the time about HO's ("Head On" face shots) and most of us are tired of it. It's played out and they are easy to avoid most of the time.

It never fails about once every few weeks someone comes on the forum, complaining about getting HOed or this or that. Topics turn into 4 or 5 pages with everyone explaining their stance on the issue for the 200th time. (Hell I think I even had my own HO topic when I was a noob)

Being we just had the HO topic of the week ( here (http://forums.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=210678) ) I figured it was a good time to get a little Sunday morning shenanigans going and poke some fun. I figured there would be a few that might see where I was going and help out, but it seems it flew right over the heads of most.

"Head On" headache medicine is relevant to the fact that we are all tired of hearing about HO's .. ie.. Gives me a headache, because it's the same thing over and over and over again, you know just like the typical HO complaint topics on the forums

Considering that Head on commercial is the most annoying commercial I've ever seen and it happens to be for.. Head On, I figured it would catch people off guard and they would see the satire in it. Especially when I added in the commit that it only took me "10 mins to make" linking it back to the HO topic of the week (see above link).

Ok we are almost done.. I figured being most vets (ie the AW comment) would just assume I was a noob complaining about HO's. You know just another weekly HO complaint to be ignored, so I juiced up the topic a little to bring them into the mix..

Sorry it went over everyones heads... next time I'll try to connect the dots better...
