P47D11 vs Fw190A-5
This would be my first release of an Aces High movie. I've always wanted to do one over the years and never found the time. I've made movies for other games in the past and Aces High was quite the departure from those.
Title: Focke-wulf
Time: 8:47
Codec: WMV 9
Music: From '300' and 'Gladiator'
191mb High Quality Link - 720x480 Widescreen
http://derstuhl.com/movies/Focke-Wulf.zip
Lower Quality YouTube

Other pilot in the film was Roidrage.
Posted this in the General Discussion for more exposure, not too many venture down to the Films & Screenshots Forum. If its a problem mod, please feel free to move the thread.

The combat music makes it sound like a starwars fight seen.. Decent movie none the less!:aok

A-5 is my first plane in AH. This will be great for training thanks!

Ugh! Default skin! (*recoils*)

Never mind him Fulmar, he needs constant attention. Great first effort I'd say. :aok

Oh, yeah, don't get me wrong, it was fun to watch....
But... that skin irks me, on the A-5! It irks me!
Other than that my only minor complaint would be that you can't see the target a lot of the time in the "over-the-shoulder" shots. I also liked the nice fireball explosion at the end :D

Trust me, the default skins were not my first choice. I suppose I could have changed the A-5 as that was what I was flying. However, I didn't want to take the time to have the other pilot record a film just so I could get his skins to show up on the P47. If you remember, other plane skins are default skins in films. There's a lot more I'd like to do with an Aces High movie, but we're limited to so much with the film viewer and the lack of views.

Just pokin fun at Krusty. ;) He does make some sweet LW skins Fulmar.:aok

Fulmar, PM inbound re: skins and film viewer... :noid

I love the ending :lol
The moods you set using the music were nice. However the ending was sad BECAUSE of the music...
Music makes half of your movie. Nice movie, 3 out of 4

Very nice film. The jug driver should be horse whipped for flying that poorly though. :)

very very nice !!!!!!!

Limitations of the film viewer. Has to account for lag so it looks herky jerky when the pilot is making smooth turns.

5 out of 5 the critics are going to love this
excellent job:aok :aok (way up)

Nice vid!
BTW that doesnt sound like Star Wars to me... I watch the movies too much.

Nice music and good video quality. I liked the font you used for your text.
Shame your 16x9 film was rendered in 15x10, which means I see black bars on the sides and on the top/bottom when viewed on my widescreen monitor when in full screen mode for Windows Media Player.
I really liked the part where the P47 died. It was a good scene.

Noted, I'll use true letterbox next time.

Im inclined to agree.
Damn good movie. One o fhte better ones I've seen in a long while.

I was the jug in the movie, and yes my flying was awful because I was TRYING to keep him behind me. Fulmar is a very talented movie maker indeed. If you get the chance view the other movies he has made for different games, all incredible as well.
PS
While filming that fight, on 3 different occasions I received a pilot wound in 1 shot. We had to turn down the lethality for that exact reason:D
