I know Im new.. and yes I get shot down a lot.. but I rarely miss my hanger, so this is for those who would like to know:
Im open to corrections or better ways to do things.. but this really works for me, my attack score may be 900 but damage done Im 39
Pick a P-47 D-40
fully arm it 2 1000 lbrs, 1 500 lb, 10 rockets, and 8 machine guns with half ammo.. you will almost never live to fire all 3400 rounds anyway- really not well placed shots that is..
next fuel at 50% if close.. or more as needed
wep up to 5k, turn it off climb to 15k level off and turn back on wep until you reach 300 mph.
set your salvo to 6 by typing ".salvo 6" in your radio bar
when you get close to your target look over your wing to find your hanger,
if you are not sure what hangers are what, refer to you clipboard map
you may want to zoom in on your map when you get close to the feild, when your plane is over the feild pull up and cut throttle until you slow to 200 mph then dive
line up on your target the higher the verticle angle the better 45 degrees will do more will not hurt just increase your speed
ie. point almost strait down
select secondary weapon 1000 lbs at about 4 k or 500 mph realse your bombs and switch weapon to rockets (wich will be your next in line on secondary weapons)
get as close as you can to hanger (only experience with alt. and speed will tell you this) maybe 1-2k if dive flaps are depoyed, then fire your rockets
pull up on stick, and throttle up to full and Wep
you will want to mantain about a 45 on the way up as well
going strait up will stop you about 6 k
jetting off level will drain your 600mph E before you can gain good alt
but a 45 should bring you to about 9k and down to 175 mph
when you slow to 220 mph you may want to complet the loop over for a second dive on a different target
(thats what I do.. I feel guilty going back to base still armed with bombs)
2 of your rockets will take the radar easy.. I like to save the 500 pounder for a ground vehicle but it can be used in combination with the remaining 4 rockets and stafing with guns to take another hanger
hopefully I have helped some one.. this is what I do.. Im good at it and I may get shot down a lot on my second or third dive on a base but I leave them a couple hangers short

Ive taught myself how to divebomb.

Weasel gunsite is excellent also.
Place target in the open space between the apex of the triangle (it is missing its base) and the tip of the verticle line stemming from the bottom.
Pretty much can't miss.

And another Suicide Dweeb is born.

lol go into the TA and ask for help :aok :aok

If you salvo to 6 how can you have rockets left for a second pass???
Is there something I am missing?

i think if i'm gonna hit hangars or any buildings with bombs, i'll stick to level bombing......on Vbase, i can drop all 3 in 2 passes........on air bases i only hit what i'm asked to hit........but level bombing is ..to me anyway/......much more accurate, and much safer. when i'm flying buffs, it's all about surviving the mision. when i'm furballin.....it's all about killin as much as i can before i get kilt:D
you should try level bombing.....but be warned though........it takes patience, and you WILL have fighters commin after ya...but that just adds to the fun and challenge:aok
good luck!

I must say, I was in one of our hangers earlyr today checking things out, and I can tell you for sure!! That hanger was shaking out of fear :O
Noooo, not for the bombs. For your plane trying to pull up at 600mph at 1K :rofl

Phear the Republic Cruise Missile! :D

a few days ago, I was defending a Vbase, and I had p38s, 26s, and IIRC, a 88...none of them could hit me...then they turned to colliding with me...finally, a 51 came in w/2x 1K bombs...
THEY need to read this thread.

Never do (oops)jabo passes unless your buddies own the sky--I salvo 6 rockets and the 2 big rocks on VH, etc---take it out 1 pass, zoom back up at 400-ish.....if chance presents itself, the remaining 4 rockets dar/acks.....or some puke on taxi-way:D

Why would they need to read this thread?????
So they could lawn dart all around you and you could rack up the proxy kills....
See above threads by dedalos and rino....:aok

BTW: No offense but I just re-read the name of the thread  :lol :rofl :D

Particularly as - according to the instructions - full throttle and WEP should be applied.
Just how deep a hole is it possible to make with an aircraft.

level bomb level bomb level bomb. you hit your target and survive to take down more. if you have eggs left after you've hit all you need to to help your guys on the ground, then ya can go wreak havoc bombing strats.....:aok
besides, hasn't anyone ever taught ya......airplanes don't like to be near the ground:rofl

thats on the way back up.. Im telling you I do this.. I reach almost 600.. and it works for me sure I have lawn darted a few times.. but not anytime lately.. thats why I said only experience can tell you when you have to pull up

If FH's didnt respawn in 15 minutes, you would respect my Jug
if FH's didn't respawn in 15 minutes, you'd respect my JU88's a whole lot more....and i'd shoot down your jug as you were tryin to stop me:D
If FH's didnt respawn in 15 minutes, you would have new maps 3 or 4 times a day with all the land grabbers nowadays:D
If FH's didnt respawn in 15 minutes, there'd be no need for a GV hangar on base

what ever,
I like things fast..
and a Ju 87 is not that.. you just like the 1800 bomb
but at 220mph at a hot air base.. good luck :aok
-
In previous tours I have used the Ju-87 to good effect. All it used to take was one stuka and poof all VHs were dead, despite the moving of hangars it still only takes 3 well trained stuka pilots to neuter the V base. In reguards to the 1800kg, I have also flown with the smaller bomb loads for various missions including anti-GV, town demolition, and field Ack supresion. Lastly, after your bombs are off and you are clean, the stuka handles well enough to get out of dodge effectively. I say this not to correct you or be confontational, but to illistrate the point that there are uses for all aircraft and there are people whoom like to use them. It simply is a matter of preference.

Or if you always want to hit it 100% go straight above building cut engine dive straight down ontop of it at 1k-1.2k drop bombs and switch everything drop other bombs shoot rockets and fly straight down into the hanger i mean if you where heading straight down at hanger your bombs should suicide with ya ^_^ Just dont do this at TT or you wont get any kills
btw if ur in TT just strafe every single tank you see and if they end sortie and ur flying around TT u will get the kill lol thats if they get bored and no one shoots them

i've never flown the JU87.......because of how slow it is. i siad the JU88...although it climbs kinda slow, once you're to your desired altitude, she cruises along at about 280 or so, and faster as you off-load ords.
as for doing the job fast......THAT'S where planning comes in handy. when my squad wants to attack a Vbase, they have me launch about 10-15 minutes ahead of the attack......this gives me time to climb to alt, and let my ship accelerate to full cruise speed. once i'm on target(which is about 3 to 5 minutes ahead of the rest of the guys if i time it right) then the first two hangars are gone in the first pass. total time to be back on target is approximatly another 5 minutes or less, and there goes number three. and now here's the key.....since i survived the run, i can now spot for my squaddies on the ground, OR if they end up in an extended battle, i'm still on station to re-drop the first two hangars again, almost immediatly after they come up. air bases take a bit longer, but we normally concentrate on the town then. what it all comes down to though, is to survive the mission. don't care bout points, don't care bout perks, in bombing, #1 priority is to hit your asigned targets, and #2 priority is to survive so you can continue to be helpful on the ground. then again though, the really deep hole your jug makes could be helpful too:D
i do understand that we all like to fly our own ways......i'm just tryin to offer ya some advice on a slightly better...albiet......more tedious method to accomplish your goal.
oo......and for the most part, i LEARNED to be patient in the bombers.....it was hard as hellllll to do to, as i still prefer the speed and climb of the fighters.....and on that note, have you run into someone waiting for ya back up hi when you zoom back? i know i've gotten my fair share of kills doin that as the guy is floundering almost in stall....makes for an easy target(which i need as my gunnery....uumm.......sukcs)
most important part though, is that you're having fun...........:aok

But you know you have a noob squeaker tryign 2 shoot u down in a bomber when the idiot trys 2 stay right behind you... And that is about everyone in AH i usually see 15 squeakers trying to shoot a bomber down from the back and they wonder wtf pilot wound, The best way to attack a bomber is from above Most people forget that when they are diving at you depending on how fast and angle of dive is you either shoot below them if they are diving right onto you or above them iv they are gaining altitude to do a loop around also the best spot to attack is from the side the waist gunners are usually a pain to use and alot of things in the way plus the bomber is usually most vulnerable here because you can go for a clear sweep of the cockpit from the side and own the pilot because remember when you are getting shot at the 2 drones are shooting at the general area where the actual pilot is shooting so you have about 4 x 3 guns converging on you and the easiest spot to hit when someone is behind you is the fueselage of the plane which is why I always see people smoked up and pilot wounded and if you do end up in the precarious situation behind a bomber and are trying to leave its line of fire never dive down to avoid the guns because you are exposing your pilot to an easy pilot wound What you should do is climb above the bomber 800 feet do a barrel roll come around and aim for the part of the fueselage where the two wings meet and than proceed to attack the cockpit if this didnt destroy it.

:rofl :rofl :rofl
Yeah, that will do it. Sit nice and slow above the bomber at D260, then roll over so he can get a shot at the pilot. Are you a lobist the buff pilots looking to get more killz? :rofl
Even if you meant D800, those things will pick you off at 1K+

Pple are no good with the top gun Especially because when you are shooting up towards something moving around you need to lead different directions for different angle's nothing like shooting ball turret

Listen as a bomber pilot, and a bomber hunter, the best attacks are High sides attacks. It is damn difficult to lead that fast moving fighter, and the fighter can hardly miss that big side of buff.
Personally I like the Ju-87, that big bomb is like the finger of GOD! Everything around where it lands is GONE! Except CV's, but they are practically neutered when 1800Kg of love gently caresses it's deck. Yes it takes some time to get to altitude, but most of the time no one bothers to get to 15-16K to come after me, or are too interested in furballing the cuspidors down low. BTW I pull out at 7-8K I'm daring, not suicidal.
EDIT:
A cuspidor, is the correct term for a spitoon.
