it's really not hard

grab a copy of Paintshop Pro and use the animation shop.  Pick out 4 or 5 pics and resize them to the appropriate avatar dimensions and it pretty much holds your hand and walks you through it.

Or just ask and somebody will probably make one for you if you don't want the hassle.  I've done some for other members so if you like pm me and we'll talk about it.

Maybe the main question should be: "Why would you want to make your avatar move/animated ?"

1) To bug people with something flashing and moving while they try to concentrate on the text.

2) To move people's attention away from what you have typed.

3) ...  ????
