I don't normally check the score other than plane kills, so forgive me if this is an obvious answer
But.....
I have 4 sorties, of which 3 I landed, and 1 time I was killed. In those 4 sorties I have 14 kills (and 1 assist, not that it affects things).
The score page says my K:D is 7.00.
Huh???
Last I saw, 14:1 is a kill/death of 14.

um I'm new, but I think the k/d is actually kills/deaths + 1
could be wrong though

You are right. K/D is always k/(d+1). That way you avoid division by 0.
So 14 kills to 1 death is K/D 7. 28 kills to 2 deaths would be K/D 9.33

That makes no sense.
Anyways, order of operations when I saw that I thought (kills/deaths)+1, not kills/(deaths+1).
Makes no sense.
EDIT: Read lusches post. Okay, it prevents divide by zero, but it's inaccurate in all other cases.

i dont really go my roster, because some very good piolets dont play much, or dont use GVs or bombers but r super good fighter piolet

It makes sense, for it is a consistent way to calculate K/D. And the only way to make it accurate.
To set it as (k/d)+1 would make no sense at all.

^-- agreed on that
bah, I'm just gonna go back to ignoring score.
Kills by plane type is SO much more informative!
