Title: Hardware controller question...
Post by: Krusty on August 03, 2007, 11:22:37 AM
Say you have a throttle like that CH quad throttle, has 6 levers.

Say you map 4 of them to throttles 1, 2, 3, 4. Can you "just" map the last to to RPM 1, 2?

Will that mean RPM 1,2 are mapped only to engines 1,2 (because you have all 4 engines mapped), or will it do it as RPM left/right, as if you were in "twin" throttle configuration?

If you just had 2 throttles and 2 RPMs I can see how it works, but what if you had 4 throttles and 2 RPMs? Does that throw a wrench in the works?

hmm maybe what you should do is program it then try it out in offline mode.

Krusty I'm not positive about this but I believe that the rpm would be for engine 1, 2, and not left bank, right bank.
