I'd be more excited about it if it had a tail gunner. Other than that I doubt it will be used much.

The B-25H only carried 21 rounds for the 75mm. The amount you see in Waffle's video is most likely the result of him changing the settings so he can test it offline.
Question is, are we going to have rockets available as well for the B-25H? It was able to carry 8 HVAR rockets as well as carry I think around 3k of eggs on wing hard points.
Despite what some think, it will be a potent town destroyer and field porker.

It needs a bigger dose to get 98 rounds of 75mm.

If we're talking about the latest batch of pictures on the front page, I see a tail gunner.

Should be interesting watching a bunch of NOE's attacking a cv too.

That's all I need. Similar to flying the Yak9T with 32 rounds 37mm.

I'd like to know what sorts of ordinance she's going to have. B-25s carried about everything from conventional bombs and rockets, to parafrags and torpedoes.
-
I thought someone said there was no TG in the H?
If it does have one, then YUP I'll be excited.

Definitive website on the B-25H/PBJ-1H at http://www.vmb-613.com
They were the only Marine VMB that flew the H model and the website has a huge amount of resources about the plane, the systems, and their employment during the war. Very good write ups about the 75mm and the systems that supported it. Also, a definitive list of ordnance types used by VMB's and the bombay configurations possible.

that is a hardcore plane man.
to the gents who voted that plane for the newest one. kick heiney for sure.
-
Cool .. the nacelles are finally *round* :)

75mm's are HE? (or AP)
-
I regret to inform you, if you voted for anything else after round 2, you will be denied usage of the B25. It simply will not install on your computer.
-
Love the site, Stoney.
So, I wonder if HTC will model the radar-assisted aiming on the 75mm...? PT boats are gonna start pissin' themselves. :D

I doubt it, but theoretically, they could. There's going to be a lot of firepower on the H model, that's for sure. And it should be somewhat defensible with the top and tail turrets. I'm looking forward to what type of ballistics the 75mm has.
-
if it was used by the marines, would we be able to have it on the CV

Shameless cut and paste, from the site you linked.
A diagram showing the various components of the T13E1 75mm cannon. The entire cannon weighted 763 pounds and had a muzzle velocity of 2,362 feet/second. Its maximum effective range was 5,100 yards.
Not to shabby.

I never voted for it in any round, does that give it extra armor plating when I attack it?
-
Funny how all of the 1337 fighter smacktalk dissapeared after the appearance of a tailgun.:D
-
Cool we got the BFG on the B-25!
Now we need the Mosquito 57mm BFG :D
-
I can't wait for the B25. So many of them will be flying in the MA even my K/D ratio will shoot straight up. Easy kills.

Gonna wait 'till we actually get it, and can fly it. The initial pics look way cool, though. I can't wait to try it out.
