Any one use a Mac running windows to play? I know Aces High isn't made for Mac, but it "should" work with Boot Camp and windows xp. I have a new MacBook Pro w/ 15" widescreen and Nvidea GE 8600gt. I am pretty sure this would work pretty well, but if you know of any problems, I'd love to hear 'em.

I think Hap runs it with bootcamp on a 24" imac with no problems. The problem with bootcamp is that it doesn't always run on all systems, even supposedly identical models, so you're taking a big risk to buy a system and hope it works. Since you already have one, no better way to find out than to try, assuming you have XP to load.
(added) Here is link to Hap's thread: Link>> (http://forums.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=188132&highlight=bootcamp)

I can get Windows, and if boot camp doesn't work i can set up parallels. i just want to make sure that AH will work before i go through the process of downloading and setting up boot camp, then installing windows.

You may give a try to this:

Mac Version of Cedega. AH2 works perfectly well under Cedega 6, I don't know how close Cider to Cedega, but probably you'll be able to run AH2 under Mac like it runs under Linux.

ok, i got it all set up. everything works fine except that the clipboard has a page spinning around it whenever i have it up. although this does not really affect my game play, it is quite annoying. Any of you know why this is happening or how to stop it?

Drink less.
Sorry, but I couldn't pass that up.

Jeff, is your mac a duel core system? It seems like a similar problem AH has with dual cores on XP. I think there is a sticky thread for a fix (for XP) in the technical support forums.
ill leave the more complicated stuff for the computer guru's to explain or correct me if i messed up

k guys i got it. thanks guys. i just made it compatible for windows 98. works fine. in another thread about this, an amg.com link is mentioned, I tried this and it almost corrupted my windows partition. with some help i was able to fix it. So, just be careful when using it.

Unfortunately, you cannot install the AMD patch for XP, when running boot camp. Same problem exists with mobile dual core CPU's.

Why would you want to if you are running a MAC. They have intel chips. I have AHII running on my MacBook Pro using bootcamp and XP professional. I did use the dual core patch.
I don't play on the Mac. I just use it when checking my maps out. I have no reason to believe I couldn,t play it though. Just too lazy to change my home office around.
