Hey i wish there could be darkness in htis game like real time because those lancs ould become more usfull because they were known as Nite bombers and the gunners only shot if shotten uppon it would be fun:aok :aok :aok :noid

I enjoyed night in AH1 and night in AH2 looks immaculate BUT your reasoning is flawed in that the big red icon tells the enemy exactly where you are, thus negating the Lancaster's camo scheme to a certain extent.

I for one would love to see more realism in a 'sim'. Radar would of course work the same and it would be a challenge to find your target at night. It wouldn't have to be pitch black, we have that ridiculious (should be fixed) huge moon. It would be so neat to have just an hour of darkness with the option of Nav, Landing, and Cockpit lighting. Bronk is right about the Gamma though...

I as well as others have requested the return or night and HT himself said NO.  not just well not right now, but definativly NO! He said nope.

It was Night time in the Ta few days ago. Was pretty neat how the lights from the cockpit shined on the wings.

i'd rather not get shot down in goonie bird or dogfight in it well if u put some machine guns in wings i will feel free to dogfight with goon but before that i' will keep it stealthy when trying to sneak a captures which i sneak on nits and Rooks alot:aok :aok

Sometimes they do night ops in snapshots. The most fun snapshot I ever had was at night.

and i wish it could be like that in AH2 i heard on Halloween and Christmas it is nite time in AH2 is that true? when ever i make 8 player areana i make it nite time fighting :D

I believe so, yes.  There are some screenshots, search for 'santa'.

Flying at night is hard. However I got 1 kill and 3 assists that night.  best snapshot I ever had.

It was on July 12 2006.

Man I lobied for night in the past, we had it and people whined too loudly and poof it got removed.  Thats the way it goes, it was only like a 30 or so minute night and they axed it and said it will never return.  Yes on Christmas Eve the arenas go dark and Santa flies about in his sled (I know cause I got a kill on him last year, Doobs got one the year before that)

I would like night to return, but since HT said no there is no point in even asking again. :huh

Probably not in the MA, but I think that CMs have the option in their events if they choose.
