Was at office depot yesterday getting a few more cans of air and happened upon their mouse pads. It's designed for the laser mice, but I assume it would work just as well for optical mice (wouldn't use the old roller balls on it though)
Anyway, was only $7 and my old mouse pad was nasty and needed to be replaced. And for the price it's an awesome pad. It sticks to your desk, so of course there is a chance it will leave residue if you ever have to replace it.
Thought I would spread the word since it turned out to be such a great pad for the price. Their website is http://www.handstands.com might check them out if your hunting for a mouse pad.
