Title: Dont Mess with a Redneck Biker
Post by: Airscrew on August 06, 2007, 01:32:48 PM
A couple of friends at work  (Emory and Al) helped a friend of theirs rebuild his bike after he dumped it a couple of months ago.    He made the mistake of calling Emory a redneck (well he is from Georgia)  (Emory is the big guy that gets on the bike and starts it)  pay particular attention to the handle bars and the new hitech headlight... :rofl

mrmidi and I have been trying to get Emory hooked on AH

No wonder he wrecked, his front tire had no tread...

Looks like the rear wasn't much better either.

I agree no tread and it may have played a part.

what happened was Danny came around the corner and there was a car in his lane coming head on.   while trying to avoid becoming a hood ornament He slid and fell to the left and hit the road and then the bike popped back up and then slid and fell to the right, eventually leaving the road

Racing vehicles have no tread on their tires for extra grip. Notice treaded tires are put on when it is wet.

thats true, but I believe racing tires are a "softer" compound tire,  stickier so to speak
