What’s the reason for an assist? Do you get an added score for an assist or is it there just to let you know you had a hand in downing an enemy aircraft, GV, etc.
-
You score for it.
-
Really, I never noticed it. Guess I wasn't looking. If you land with no kills and four assist you will receive a score for that? I have never checked.
-
Ya don't get perk points, mebbe 'point' points--LOL, I wish those points could be broken down and the end of camp, I would own you all:aok
-
You get points just for hitting someone even if you don't get a kill or an assist.
From the help file:
PlaneDamageScore =
(DamagePointsScoredOnEnemiesTh isSortie * DeathMult) +
TotalTourPlaneDamageScoredOnE nemies
KillScore =
((AirKillsThisSortie * 1.0) + (AirAssistsThisSortie * 0.25) +
(GroundKillsThisSortie * 1.0) + (GroundAssistsThisSortie * 0.25) * DeathMult) +
TotalTourKillScore

I am sure that scoring is important to a lot of people in this game. It's the only reason I could see for an assist. But what do you get for it. If you land with kills will it up your perks, does it effect your score with or without kills, whats it's value? Just curious.

Look above your last post.
-
You get 0 perks for a assist, the only thing it effects is you points, if you look at your score where it breaks down your score you'll see a section for points, thats all you get for an assist.

Got it. Thanks BaldEagl. I guess if you ask a stupid question, you get a really good answer. ha ha.
Thanks
