Title: video8.cfg and a Q about anti-aliasing
Post by: 33Vortex on August 09, 2007, 04:04:50 PM
This is what my video8.cfg file looks like:

132352,VideoVersion
1920,Width
1200,Height
32,ColorDebth
1,DeviceCnt
DVDVDVNVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS
60,MaxFPS
0,PixelShaders
0,VertexShaders
1024,MaxTexSize
3310,OptionFlags
1.10,Gamma

Could someone explain to me what pixelshaders and vertexshaders do and if it's possible to turn them on. Also how can I run AH with anti-aliasing?

Antialiasing settings are found here:

Right click on desktop > Properties > Settings > Advanced > GeForce 8800 GTS tab

Expand GeForce 8800 GTS menu on left > highlight Performance & Quality Settings

Keep in mind that AH does not have native AA support and if you enable it on your card, you're going to take a performance hit.
