Title: Monitor trouble
Post by: JB64 on August 09, 2007, 06:57:20 PM
Having trouble finding a Driver. Monitor is NEC MultiSync FE700.

Any Ideas, I'm not to good at the techie stuff.

Your monitor is not set correctly in the system.  Windows is using a default
plug and play monitor type.  There is a good chance Windows is using the
wrong vertical sync frequency for the resolution you are running the game
at.

You need to load the monitor INF/driver file so Windows can properly detect
the monitor configuration.

This is not an executable file. Also Skuzzy says its only color management.

Either way I cannot seem to solve the issue.

Any more Ideas?

This contains the INF file for the FE-700.

This is the same file I sent you a copy of. Do I need to place it in a windows folder?

Go to your System Properties/device manager/monitors and select your properties.  Go to the driver tab, update driver, and display list of all drivers in a specific location.  Use browse and select the directory where you stored the INF file.
