Hello to who this may concern. If you are using a regular Logitech controller, by regular I mean one that resembles a playstation controller, you may be having trouble setting your buttons to do particular functions. If you are setting a button in the options under ''Map Controllers'' and then going into the game and the button you have mapped is not working this may solve your problem. The numbers of the buttons as labelled on your controller may not be labelled the same as those in the AH2 options. Here's what I mean. My Logitech controller has 12 buttons that can be mapped. On the controller they are labelled 1-10 with 11 and 12 being activated by clicking down each analogue stick respectively. However in AH2 the controller mapping list the buttons as 0-11 with 0 being number 1 as it corrosponds to my controller and 11 in the controller mapping being button 12. So hopefully you're brighter than me and didn't spend 2 days wondering why your buttons weren't working. But if they aren't working right this may be your problem.:-)

no I use a logitech extreame 3D pro which is a stick so

mmmmm...logitec
good luck with the durability....had 2 of them that were spiky right out of the box. 3 more that just wore out real fast. bad pots, and good ones that are only good for a couple of months
on the up side, they are cheap, but you get what you pay for

Im just trying to help people that might need help getting their buttons programmed. Im not advocating any certain brand of controller or saying any is better than another. Since you brought it up though Ive bought and used Logitech controllers and headsets on my computer, PS2, and PS3 and their products have always worked fine for me. Maybe Ive just been lucky or youve been unlucky.

you have been lucky....they're junk

"Logicrap"
Get Saitek
I had a ST290 for 4-5 yrs...just now is the hat switch wearing out.
-
There's more than just saitek, but Logitech ought to be avoided at all costs.
Thanks for the tip. I'm sure somebody will find it helpful.
-
What about the Extreme FFB stik?..was looking at this the other day.
Was tempted to buy it but had flashback of 3D Pro that lasted 3 months..and they wouldn't take it back.
-
Yep, went through 4 logitecs... all worked great out of the box but after a few hours of use started spiking. I bought one of their headsets also and its volume control died. Very low quality products.

Maybe Logitec "Gamepads" are made better (that is what Leo is talking about), but it is very rare you hear anything good about Logitec's sticks.
-
i also have a logijunk game pad.....looks just like a PS2 control....it lasted for 3 mos. before the left stick started spiking. the only parts that last on them are the non-moving buttons.....their analog pots are horrible
-
HMMM. I had my logitec pro for nearly 3 years and no problems.
-
I have had mine for about a week now and I played about six hours one night but no spiking
-
Log extreme 3d pro here. Had it for about 10 months now and it's showing some signs of wear. But, I like the feel better than other sticks I've tried so $30 a year for a new stick doen't bother me.

Have had my Logitech Wingman Interceptor for about 7 years now, no problems with it at all. Dropped it off my desk and cracked the base once, but it still works flawless.
-
one logitec pro 3-d per year they are cheap at the store and i like them just personel preference tho!! too each his own
-
Yep, same stick that I had. Great ergonomics, probably best I've seen. Too bad their pots suck. I'm guessing the most I got out of one was maybe 30 hours before the pots started spiking.

i've always used the wingman 3d extreme..........so i can't say anything about thier force feedback sticks. if they are anything like my SW force feedback pro, they don't have pots and are much better quality. i've just given them enough money already and went the other way
